Meet the Barn Babies

We consider ourselves truly fortunate to have this great little herd of horses. All four of our horses bring joy and laughter to our day with their different, but equally large, personalities! The horses all love their jobs, and they give us their best every time we take them out. We cannot wait for you to come meet them yourselves! And they wanted us to let you know, they love apples and horse cookies (in moderation, of course).

Cruise

Cruise became a part of the family in 2016 when he was 7 years old. He is a registered grey American Quarter Horse gelding and is the tallest horse on the farm at a little over 16hh. Cruise is Nikki’s main riding horse and is ridden both English and Western (although English is both his and Nikki’s preferred discipline). Cruise helps with the occasional lesson in exchange for mints from Nikki.

Ducky

Ducky is an American Quarter Horse, joining the family in 2018. She is a 14.3hh palomino mare and is one of the main lesson horses. She loves to take new riders out to learn the basics, but also loves to be put to work to help riders learn how to ride faster gaits and more advanced maneuvers. She is the farm princess and loves attention.

Pat

Pat is an American Quarter Horse, joining the family with his best friend Ace in 2020. He is a 14.3hh chestnut gelding and is one of the main lesson horses. Pat is ridden mainly western, but his specialty is taking new and young riders out for their first rides. He is genuinely kind and steady, and he absolutely loves to snuggle and have his head scratched.

Ace

Ace is a Pony of the Americas and joined the family with his best friend Pat in 2020. He is a 14hh red dun gelding and is one of the main lesson horses. He may be small in stature, but he has a big personality. He is ridden mainly Western, and he enjoys taking new and young riders out to learn the basics. He is very curious, loves to be groomed, and enjoys apples.
